About No Bull Online Personal Training

No Bull Online Personal Training was founded by Angelo Miccoli. I currently reside in the UK, and I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 10 years. Fitness and nutrition can be complex topics, however, my aim has always been to communicate in a way that is simple to understand.

Over the years I’ve helped numerous people from all walks of life achieve their health & fitness goals. I’ve learned about my strengths and weaknesses, and I’ve also become a lot more selective about the type of people I work with. I focus on a particular group of people who believe what I believe about health and fitness. This approach has enabled me to develop extremely effective processes and systems for my niche: people over the age of 30 seeking long-term fitness.

My exercise philosophy is to keep it simple. I believe in developing what I believe to be the 10 components of fitness: endurance; stamina; strength; flexibility; power; speed; coordination; agility; balance & accuracy. I design all my programmes with these components in mind because I believe it’s the most effective way to promote long-term fitness.

My nutrition philosophy is, surprise surprise, to keep it simple! If you’re anything like me, you love to eat good food! Which is why I believe that food is something to be enjoyed, not endured! The word ‘diet’ can cause a lot of anxiety, but the definition is straightforward, the kinds of food that a person, animal, or community habitually eats. I believe in helping people make small, regular changes to their diet in the least restrictive way. I believe in eating to exercise, not exercising to eat.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.

Each individual is unique, and whilst it’s true that our genes are fixed, what’s not fixed is our character. Whilst process, strategy and ability are important, I believe the person i.e. character is foundational. You could have the best process, strategy and ability, but a weak character will render them useless. Through exercise I believe we can develop certain character traits that will drastically impact our health, fitness & lives for the better. Accountability, confidence, grit, humility, optimism, perseverance & resilience are all traits that I believe we can develop/improve.

What does Usain Bolt, Tiger Woods, and Serena Williams all have in common? Firstly, they were all number one at some point in their respective discipline, and arguably the greatest ever at it too. Secondly, they all had a coach. A coach or mentor offers leverage, which in turn could speed up the process. You don’t have to waste time making mistakes, figuring it out for yourself, or learning the hard way; my experience and proven personal training solutions provide a significant amount of leverage, and will ultimately help you achieve your fitness goals in a much more timely manner.

When you work with me, you work with an experienced fitness professional who relentlessly pursues excellence. I understand that nobody wants to continue doing something they don’t enjoy which is why I aim to make the journey as enjoyable as possible. When you work with me you inherit an enormous amount of leverage that can be used to fast-track your fitness and help you achieve your goals a lot faster than if you were to go it alone. The best time to start was yesterday, the next best is right now.
